Description

Meet Toast, a helpful neighbor who learns that rising to the occasion and helping others is the best thing since sliced bread in this charming addition to the #1 New York Times bestselling Food Group series.

Toast knows everybody, and everybody knows him. He pops up wherever help is needed—shoveling sidewalks, welcoming newcomers, and checking in on neighbors—just because. But Toast wasn't always so warm and toasty. In his younger days, he kept to himself, loafed around, and mostly just felt a little stale. It took one life-changing moment to help him rise to the occasion.

Jory John and Pete Oswald serve up another heaping plate of laughs and lessons with this empowering, witty, and charming story about how one ordinary piece of toast can transform an entire community.
