Tatyana's incredible inner and outer strength lead to her becoming a winner of numerous medals and being known as the fastest woman in the world. Lovely illustrations adeptly depict Tatyana's start in life when her mother had to give her up, the way Tatyana faced every day with positivity and courage, and the love her adoptive mothers gave her every day. The clear Spanish text excellently shares this inspiring story and makes it accessible to very young readers. A final spread shares additional information about the athlete and encourages kids to reward themselves when they accomplish something.
