Bookelicious’s resident book-joy spreader and author, John Schu, is as passionate about inspiring educators as he is about inspiring students. He offers two, 90-minute sessions designed to inspire your teachers and administrators. One session is focused on sharing the best new books that can easily be incorporated into your school culture to increase reading motivation, stamina, and growth. Our curators have created a wide variety of book collections that you can pick and choose from to give students and teachers exciting book options in the classroom and the library. And we can use your students’ bookmoji data to help select a variety of books for your classroom or library that are sure to appeal to your students, because they reflect your students’ own choices. All of the books in our collections have their BISAC codes and Library of Congress subjects attached, to help you assess if they will work within the framework of any state or local laws pertinent to your community.
We offer a variety of 10-, 20-, and 30-book collections that can be used as bite-sized revamps on specific topics important to educators and students. We currently offer collections on kindness and empathy, Latín heritage, and that feature books that are Spanish/bi-lingual.
Our Choice and Voice Program is not a set collection of books curated by our expert curators. Instead, it’s a program that’s tailored to the specific interests of your students, and the needs and budget of your district . This program allows students to choose their own books that they are able to take home. Our Choice & Voice Program is designed to inspire students to read more books and to strengthen the home-school connection.
