Pierrette Dube
Pierrette Dubé is the author of over twenty books for children. She studied arts at the Unversity of Montreal and translation at McGill University, and has worked as a proofreader, editor, and translator. Her books have won many French Canadian awards, including a Prix des libraires du Québec 2015, the Prix du livre M. Christie 1996 (best book for children under seven), and the Prix Québec/Wallonie-Bruxelles de littérature de jeunesse 2007. She lives in Saint-Lambert, Québec. Searching for Sleep was published in the original french as Où s'est caché le sommeil? (Éditions Les 400 coups, 2012).

Geneviève Godbout lives in Montreal where she works as a children's book and fashion illustrator. She studied traditional animation in Montreal and at the prestigious school of "Gobelins" in Paris. Some of her clients include The Walt Disney Company, Chronicle, Random House Canada, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Flammarion, les éditions Milan, Comme des Géants and La Pastèque.
