There are computers that can be used to develop websites, do research, or learn how to grow corn. The librarians are the guardians of an exciting world of information that is available to everyone for free. The highly detailed cartoon-style and exuberant artwork feels both modern and familiar at the same time. The pictures are labeled in English and Spanish, allowing readers to practice both languages with plenty of visual support for comprehension. Mexican American culture is highlighted, and the description of services and materials makes the entire book feel like a party for literacy and libraries.
