Based on the true story of the first African American NASCAR champion Wendell Scott, Born Driven is an uplifting tale celebrating the power of persistence and big dreams.

Like many other boys, Wendell Scott has a big dream: to become a race car driver. He loves to race anything and everything, from fish in a lake to birds in the sky! He has a talent for fixing broken things and creating complex machines.

Although he faces many difficulties as an African-American boy in the South, Wendell has the willpower to overcome these obstacles. With the support from his friends and family Wendell Scott takes on the challenge of competing in his town's big soapbox derby.

Saxton Moore Jr
Saxton Moore Jr grew up in Richmond, Virginia. At a young age Saxton loved to create stories which he would share to his classmates in school. Wendell Scott: Born Driven is his debut book.

Nolwe Azul Tamis is a 23-year-old Argentine concept artist, background designer and illustrator, aspiring to be an art director. Interested in drawing from a very young age, he studied at the UNLP Fine Arts Baccalaureate School and, complemented by his self-directed training, he began his professional career as an independent illustrator at age 14. He has participated in several renowned events, including the Night of the Cartoonists (2017) and the Hack Mafiz at the Malaga Film Festival (2021-2022).
