RUTH A. MUSGRAVE, who has a B.S. in Education, is an award-winning children's writer specializing in marine and animal science. As a naturalist, lucky hitchhiker on scientific trips, and proud science nerd, Musgrave works with scientists around the world and shares their research and discoveries through her freelance work as a contributing writer for National Geographic Little Kids magazine and author of several books for National Geographic, including Everything Sharks, the Little Kids First Board Book series, and the National Geographic Little Kids Look & Learn series.
