Angèle Delaunois became a full-time writer in 1989 after a career in teaching. She was the editor of several collections at Éditions Héritage and Éditions Pierre Tisseyre. In 2003, she founded her own publishing house for young people: Éditions de l'Isatis. With more than a hundred publications, Angèle is a leading author in the world of children's literature. Her books have received several important distinctions, including the Governor General's Award in 1998, and have been translated into English, Spanish, Catalan, Portuguese and Korean. Angèle lives in Montréal.
Augusto Mora is a comic book illustrator and author with a multinational reach. His work has been exhibited in Cozumel, Madrid, Mexico, Chicago, Houston and Québec. In 2010 he received first place in the National Graphic Novel Award from Editorial JUS for his work, El Maizo, la maldición del basta. In 2019, he completed an artist residency in Québec City, supported by the Conseil des Arts et des Lettres du Québec. Augusto lives in Mexico City.
Ann Marie Boulanger is a certified translator and owner of Traduction Proteus Inc. When she's not translating commercial texts, she's an accomplished translator of adult and children's literature. Her translation of The Woman in Valencia, by Annie Perreault, was named a World Literature Today Notable Translation of 2021. She's also a part-time lecturer at McGill University and co-founder of LION Translation Academy, which offers business, tech and language training workshops for translators.
