expert curation to match students with books they truly want to read, personalizing the reader
experience while making it fun.
Our “bookmojis” are the nucleus of our approach. As students design their bookmojis on our
website, dressing them up and choosing pets and accessories like sporting equipment and
musical instruments, they receive personalized book recommendations that reflect their interests
and grade levels.
Our unique approach facilitates the sale of books, programs, and events that enhance reader
engagement and motivation, foster reader identities, and encourage increased reading volume, all
of which are critical to improving reading achievement. Our website, bookelicious.com, is free, our
approach is research-based, and our titles are diverse and inclusive.
We are actively looking for a seasoned Bilingual Custom Curator to become a valuable addition to
our rapidly expanding team.
You will be expected to:
- Curate all assigned custom lists for classroom and libraries using both English and Spanish titles within specified timeframes.
- Monitor publisher news and catalogs to stay informed of latest titles and trends in children’s literature.
- Monitor all communication channels daily, and attend monthly team meetings.
Your Experience & Qualifications:
- Demonstrate ability to work in a self-directed environment.
- Comfortability using and facilitating a variety of platforms.
- Proven commitment to cultural humility and serving diverse populations.
- A degree in Library Science is preferred.

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour.
This is a Independent Contractor positon and will require a minimum of one hour per month. Additional hours will vary on a monthly basis.
